Classic
I lived in the town it's supposedly based on. There weren't any ex-astronauts living there, but the mayor was a cat.

Yup I used to watch reruns on KTLA during the day as a kid. I remember there was a hot chick that was with an old man. I remember there was a cool native dude that had a leather jacket.

This
Seeing this made me wanna share this story.
I got into this show because of my mom. When I was like 8 or 9, we fell on really hard times and my mom was a single parent, so she was the only source of income. We weren't able to pay our heat or electric bill for two months, so my mom started taking her laptop to work with her so she could charge it up. She started checking out seasons of this show from the library and we'd watch one or two episodes on the laptop before we went to bed, or we'd watch until the laptop died. It was tough but we had fun. She tried hard to make me happy. I loved this show, man.

I didn't ask for this feel, anon.

this, except it was also comfy when you don't want to start twin peaks over immediately after finishing it
>tfw people used to say I looked like Ed Chigliak

Fucking A anon. My mom absolutely loved this series too. I was young enough that I had absolutely no clue what the fuck was going on but I knew that she loved the show so I watched every episode with her.
Absolute kino opening credits too.
I started watching this a couple of years back but only cause of janines boyish looks. I dropped it because it was too comfy that it creeped me out. Im too used to the modern worlds cynicism and despair.
