Did anyone notice that evil Cooper and Timecop Cooper drove the exact same Lincoln??

Also, Timecop Cooper may not have travelled back in time. When he goes into the diner, the old lady sitting there eating is reading a newspaper that says "Utilities invest into alternative energy" which implies a contemporary setting. I'm sure there are other technological hints that would give away the time period.

When good Cooper comes out of the black lodge and goes through the light socket, he goes through the number 3. Jeffries came out of the number 7 elevator. Cooper and Diane stay at the number 7 motel room before Cooper wakes up as "Richard."

I duno wtf any of this shit means but there it is.

I was thinking that maybe Timecop Cooper was actually just evil Cooper and we're sort of seeing what happened immediately after good Cooper got trapped in the lodge 25 years ago. The alternate reality Laura I can't explain though.

I've been wondering wtf evil Cooper's plan even was this whole season. Maybe he's been trying to find Judy and kill Judy. That would explain why Judy would give him a call and say "you're going back in and then I'll be with Bob again." He was already in Twin Peaks at the end of the season.. he could've gone around and fucked shit up in his version of doing whatever he thought he had to do just to get the job done.

Maybe evil Cooper wasn't really "evil" at all, maybe he's just been hardboiled and doing what he thought was necessary to find and kill Judy. That's why he employed violence on the guys in the diner - he's a take-no-bullshit Cooper.
