it's a prequel. it gets pretty good.

First season is slow, but it picks up. Definitely worth watching - maybe even better than Breaking Bad - and there are plenty of connections between the two shows, especially the most recent season.

Slower than BrBa, and different feel too since it's a lot less dark and depressing.

Glad i'm not the only one to think this, especially parts of season 3 and 4 with jesse it's just grim, especially that 4 day house party he had, could you imagine how shit everyone there at that house felt.

Mike is in it, salamanca (wheelchair cartel guy) tuco, even crazy eight, Gus too later on. Definitely a prequel not just a spinoff. People are saying walt and jesse won't show up eventually, but that's bullshit the producers are spouting, of course they'll get a small cameo on the finale.
