The episodes are usually more concept, revolving around some sci-fi idea or movie parody, rather than a fairly random and loosely connected adventure (like in the pilot). Future episodes also reduce the burping somewhat and play up the role of the family.

The pilot is an okay episode, but there's a lot in Season 1 that are a lot better. Season 2 kind of goes downhill, and Season 3 goes down further still, but being an episodic rather than serialized show, there's still good episodes even in the worst seasons.

With the utter shit that they put into theatres and how badly TV shows are going, all of this deserves to be streamed. None of it is even trying to earn box office cash or channel revenue anymore.

R&m is another perfect example of something that was good to watch I. Tv but now deserves pirating.
