>most /tv/ anons have not watched this kino show

the new season is garbage. fuck off, underage faggot.

kino..show..

Judging by your inability to capitalize letters, it seems like you are the one here who's underage. Better luck next time, pleb.
Because it's fucking garbage. Biggest waste of 18 hours.
Longtime fan of David Lynch's other works and Twin Peaks but I am so disappointed in him. He had all the people, budget and time necessary. He didn't have to give us exactly what we wanted - not sure what I wanted, anyway, but there's none of the satisfaction that I got from many of his other works.

Lynch is a hack. My gf and best friend love him but I just can't stand his gimmicky style.
>muh oneirism
>muh soap opera aesthetics
>muh uncanny valley surreal actions/dialogue
Blue Velvet is his only work I find interesting and it's still far from the masterpiece everyone seems to treat it like.

Remember where you are, most anons on here have no taste or critical ability at all and are only here to talk about women or how much they ironically hate non-white people.
I don't like David Lynch. I think he's entry level pseudo-intellectual drivel. Just my opinion, but I like to enjoy the kino I watch and Mulholland Drive and Wild at Heart have both rubbed me the wrong way. I prefer his daughter's films by a wide margin.
Lynch is Jodorowsky for people too stupid for the real deal.

why can't someone make a movie about just pic #2...just an out of towner coming in to a small place like twin peaks, buying coffee and eating pie while reading the paper
what's a similar movie or series to that?
No joke, it's the only reason I watch shows like supernatural, the only decent part is when they're traveling and going to small diners.

was it autism?
you know how tarantino is the dumb people's director? now lynch is the dumb and pretentious people's director.

No those are Nolan and Refn

what a terrible opinion. that being said
>no set design, feels empty and lifeless
>no interesting ideas for storylines and generally bad writing
>relies on gimmicks only instead
>those are unoriginal or just bad, unfortunately ("fuck you, albert", glove, andy and lucy, coordinates, riddles, ...)
>bad acting (Bell, Lynch, Horse, Robertson, Dern, ...)
>dull characters (one-dimensional at best)
>storylines and characters are introduced for no purpose
>everything is supposed to weirdly connect and make sense
>shot in digital in a way that doesn't compensate for the technology's disadvantages (looks bad)
>roadhouse scenes (out of place, badly shot, the songs, the bands, the extras, ...)
>student-tier storytelling/editing (characters are shown walking up complete sets of stairs)
>stretched out needlessly, long takes have no particular effect
>everything above is literally cringe-tier in concept and implementation
>obviously delusional and/or inexperienced fanbase perceiving it as particularly meaningful, complex or "deep"
>can't compare to the original series that doesn't have those problems (coherent/complex and beautiful sets, costumes and make-up/well shot/well acted/well written/magnificent multi-dimensional characters and character relations, music, storylines and gimmicks/creates a unique athmosphere as a result, changing the world of television forever whereas "the return" neither manages to do something established really good nor to invent something new)
>somehow the best thing in tv history

Show is decent but not that great. Numales think they're smart and unique for loving it, so they pander to it as much as they can.
