i thought the same thing but then I remembered he's arguing for the right to have sex with animals. his argument for consent is interesting but it is flawed. consent is not the instrument that is stopping humans from having sex with animals, it is the welfare of the animal and its own right, the concept of cross-species mating and the mental health of the person. animals don't need to form consent with other animals because they're not breeding cross-species nor are they deranged for doing so. humans are much more powerful than other animals on this planet and we constantly exercise that power over numerous species everyday which robs other animals of their own autonomy.
