It was retarded and reactionary on Netflix part they just threw a bunch of money to the first mexican production that offered themselves without realizing that they were in no way qualified to deliver a quality product.

Luckily for them the Narcos team still delivers and if they keep going maybe they will get to the Chapo's storyline at some point.
