The funny thing is I thought the arm was MIKE's evil side that he cut off when he turned good. So the arm is inherently evil already (most clearly seen when he "marries" BOB above the convenience store with the ring).

For some reason I didn't start watching the new series until like 4 days ago. Just marathoned the entire thing and finished episode 16 last night. Fucking amazing, but I've missed /tv/'s reaction to it as it has progressed.

What has /tv/'s general reaction been and has there been a shift in opinion since the weeks progressed? Did episode 8 really weed out the casuals, for example? Also does anyone have links to reaction threads for each episode or do I have to search the archive manually? Also, what memes have become popular on /tv/?

General reaction has been good. Episode 8 didn't really seem to have an effect. Everyone seemed to like it. The only divisive episode was 12. People complained about literally nothing happening.

Yeah, I know. I really fucked up. It's not like I'm new to Twin Peaks either. I loved the original series. I guess I must have missed the first two episodes cause I was busy with something else then eventually forgot about the hype until now.

How different would Jack Nance's life have been, if Lynch had cast him in The Elephant Man, like he originally intended?
It seems he didn't really get any significant roles afterwards, except Lynch's work - and even then those were usually cameos.

Just caught up on the past 3 episodes, I'm sad it'll all be over soon.

showtime via amaxon on a computer may restrict HD..

I have a smart TV with the Amazon App and watch it that way with a sub to Showtime but when I stream it from my pc over an HDMI2 cable I sometimes see the HD is blocked because "the device is not secure" or something like that.

That venue they (wanted to) play is a shitty small place known for letting people stand in the other room at the bar, when it is too packed, although they have tickets.
