I'm kinda excited/scared for tomorrow night. Twin Peaks is probably one of the greatest things to happen in my life. I am 100% going to kill myself after the finale airs, I already have it ready, but if it's a scary thought that tomorrow will be my final day.
>>87224971

Naw that was one of the downturns when Bally was dying and stripping Bill of Materials cost from machines. Pinball was on a decline from 1981–1985 and revived with "High Speed" from Williams in 1986 (the first true modern pinball machine that tells a story with the rules and game). Some argue that Space Shuttle (1986) saved pinball (it was the first to put "toys" in the machine).
So then pinball was big again until the early 90s, when it started to die down. It wasn't until Bally/Williams merger that it got big again in 1992/1993 with DMD games and big license tie-ins like Addams Family and Twilight Zone, T2 etc. Twin Peaks mania was over by then. Twin Peaks came right in a pinball hole.
Then of course there was a hole from the late 90s until 2007 or so, with the closure of Williams and the monopoly of Stern (Data East). But it's back since '07 and will continue to be so. Jersey Jack pinball and other companies now compete, driving quality up.
The point to take away is that Twin Peaks happened during a short lull in pinball popularity and quality.
>>87224908
On a second thought I actually liked her more than del Rio so you can put her there.
>>87224836
The song didn't really make me feel much at all and it also opened for another shitty Audrey scene. And the meme made me chuckle when he appeared on screen which I guess killed the potential mood I could've gotten from it.

>>87225008
For the sake of completeness it must be said that Stern made good pinball around 2003. Lord of the Rings is /tv/-approved — best rules of any pinball machine, bringing the entire epic to life. Very complicated and "deep".

I seriously hope you guys don't step into this finale with ideas of season 4. Please, do yourself the favor of watching it with the expectation of it being the end of the show, because that is how it was written.
It was written as a limited series and that's how it is intended to be viewed. Even if a season 4 MAY happen, it is unlikely. You'd be doing yourself a disservice watching tomorrows finale and hoping and expecting more to come and more to be resolved for a later date.

How do I always be as happy as Sheryl, she literally always has a smile on her face
UK airing it early in 1 hour by accident
>>87227434
Chill anon, I was just goofing. I know nothing about the leaks.
>>87227389
Is there any new leaks?

For the last time
For the last time
For the last time
For the last time
It all ends tomorrow
I'd personally like to say goodbye too all those anon's claiming they were postponing their suicide for this.
>>87226308
did anyone see that interview with her where they ask a question and she just starts talking about her time in africa watching elephants? i can't remember if her story was relevant to the question but i enjoyed it
>>87227281
agreed, people are setting themselves up for disappointment
we get this amazing season after 25 years and all people want is another one before this one has ended!
>>87227516
>and all people want is another one before this one has ended!
It's because they love this season so much they want more of it.
>>87227408
we like this very original idea

Thanks. I have no family, friends or future, and my gf dumped me a day before ep8. Since then I've done nothing but shitposting about Twin Peaks. Gonna blow my brains out with a Walther PPK (fittingly, the gun cooper was shot with in the S1 finale) the minute the episodes are over.
Hey, I couldn't help but overhear you and this is gonna sound weird but can I talk to you about something?
>>87227485
Goodbye-trigger is in my closet. Remembering that Cooper has his mind back has been the only thing in the way this week.
>>87227504

Please don't do this, anon. It will get better, a lot of us are struggling and The Return has been all we've had. Lets do each other the favor of trying to improve our lives instead of giving up.
>>87227723
I tell you what, the Real Men among us do. Bobby plays pinball also at the Roadhouse when he hears that Mike has been boning out Nadine.
>>87227650
Anon please don't leave us. I will miss you greatly.
Friendly reminder: The scenes below are canon

Honestly, I'd be surprised if I even had the balls to pull the trigger. Dropped out of college a year ago due to anxiety issues and bullying, but I'll probably just try to enroll somewhere else. Been thinking of film school, not the smartest decision career wise, but it's the only thing I have any passion for anymore.

dunno if it has everything
When the Woodsman from Part 8 first showed up, for a brief second, I thought it was Jerry asking for his blunt to be lit and that he had somehow traveled through time in some mysterious part of the forest while he was lost.
>>87228310
That's an idea I could get behind.
>>87228116
Maybe someday, I've been writing a very low-budget surrealist film for the last 3 years. Done about 6 different drafts of the screenplay so far. It's something I could realistically shoot myself with about a dozen actors, if I just had access to the equipment.
>>87228178
We're all going to die anyway, so might as well delay it for a while. Best to chase our dreams for a while before giving up, I guess. Who knows what'll happen.
>>87223745
THREE SCOOPS
>>87226947
I know that's what Brian says but I don't here it, it sounds more like Phil Spector worship to me. Not that you can't be influenced by both they just seem like very different albums to me.
>>87224420
Why did it took so much time to Dale get his mind back, since the people from red room obviously planned this scene?
>>87228097
>Been thinking of film school, not the smartest decision career wise, but it's the only thing I have any passion for anymore.
