Was he right, /tv/? Does Los Angeles deserve to sink into the ocean?
I'd be okay with that, just to see Hollywood get shook up a bit and possibly even reinvent itself. A new 'golden age'.
Would all the hipsters and tech companies move inland to Nevada and Arizona?
Or would the whole ((business)) just shift to the east coast?

I'm a New Englander and the last fucking thing we need is wannabe-utopian tech companies and hipsters with yoga mats

Arizona Bay refers to all of California. There would be no hipsters, no LA, no hollywood, no san fran

I feel like Bill Hicks had no idea how a fault line works, or at least refused to amidst his rage over his bad vacation. California would experience a downfall no doubt, but it wouldn't be the fairy tale shit you saw in 2012 or San Andreas. It wouldn't LITERALLY fall into the ocean.

Yes, but Bill deserved to sink with it.

I understand it's a joke/metaphor, but some people think it literally. The director of 2012 certainly did.
One great big festering neon distraction,
I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied.
Learn to swim.
