I don't know what the end-game is. It can't tell if it's a kickstarter for up and coming filmmakers or a front for teasing Kojima games.

In either case a shitload of money has been spent for some youtube shorts.

Neil Blomkamp doesn't like working

I watched Firebase, it had hammy acting and a pretty weak plot from what was only in the short, but as a showcase for practical and digital effects it was wonderful.

Commendable that he's trying to break out of/disrupt the Hollywood system and go back to his roots. They're interesting concept pieces and they look nice but they don't work that well as short films.

Some pretty cool stuff showcased there but I'm just not sure what this is leading up to. Some of these concepts could definitely be full length movies but the writing is a little weak.
