Not going to say it isn't dull most of the time, but I like all the exposition,world building. ,visuals and music are the main reason I still enjoy it. One of those movies I won't fight people who can't stand it because it's very flawed but something about it just clicks for me.

It's actually on par stylistically with Excalibur. It's quirky and unpredictable, bizarre, but I'd never say its dull. One of the better sci-fi movies of the late 20th century.

It's a fantastic movie but a shitty adaption of the book, even if it does stick reasonably close to the book.

It's an absolute mess of a movie, but there are enough good things in it that people like it unironically. The casting, music, visuals, etc. are all great. The dialogue is terrible yet strangely quotable. It's just a really interesting and unique movie, and watching it for the first time is a memorable experience.

The only people that like this movie are contrarian hipsters. Even David Lynch hates this movie. It's convoluted plot makes it extremely boring. If you're going to watch it make sure you're good and high.
