Why are people acting like only the writing of Season 7 was bad? It's been on a sharp decline for a while now. Seasons 1-2 were god-tier. 3 was good. 4 was middling, 5 was worse than that, 6 was sharply worse than that, 7 was even more sharply worse.

You can basically graph the quality over time of GoT as linear decline.
