You know this shit is actually pretty good.
A show about women, made for women.

No, it's shit.

>>87155406
Yeah well /tv/ sucks anyway.
>>87155357
Why does this one guy keep saying this?
>>87155345
Butt pirates
>>87155357
no it is actually a show about butt pirates targeted at gay men
Yeah, it's pretty great when it gets going.
>>87155345
When there is actual fun pirate shit going on it's pretty good but all the dumb filler and boring drama ruins it
only thing about it is the shortness
4 seasons is just so few ;-;

Most of the time a female is on screen it loses a lot of momentum.

At the very least it proved to be far better than GoT.
The plot progresively developed becoming better and better.
Characters grew and changed cohesively with their development.
Deaths and relations where all meaningfull and while the political diversity agenda is there, like in every other show these days, it´s presented on an organic matter that makes characters people instead of flamboyant generic stereotypes of gender or race.
It fucking knew to quit while it was on top ending on a great note instead of becoming progresively shit.
It had a great cast too and some really cool characters.
Not to mention the effects and battles where fantastic... so yeah, overall a great show.
Why did everyone trust flint?
He was a shit captain and constantly screwed people over

this they masterfully fuck things up from the sidelines.
no homo but chopping off silers leg put me on edge.
i really didnt care after they killed charles vane
made flint a fagoot.
I hate when shows drag ray stevenson into shit seasons because only he can carry along with any kind of enjoyment. but even dexter makes him a fag.
he deserves to be Legatus Pullo
>>87156184
he was a chad who could talk better than most, keeping that spanish ship would have made him a legend
One of the few shows to actually have strong (as in well developed) female characters. They made them interesting by not making them Mary Sues and untouchable princesses. They plot and scheme and face consequences and over come them.
First season was a bit weird at times but overall it's a fantastic series.

One thing that bothers me a lot is when people change the actors when character are developing. It just takes away from the actual character development since it's literally a different person/face now.

Well... yeah but you can´t blame that one on him. The guy died IRL so you´ll understand him for not fullfilling his obligations and considering the character does play a somewhat important role at some point re-casting was the only option.
