Nope. I could see its proposition but yet it had no follow through with what it had to present. It showed promise as a look into lost, low-income youth and their own weird chase for the American Dream. But it went nowhere interesting. It was vapor. The script became distracted with the romance with Shia sub-plot and failed to come to a cohesive conclusion. Which may very well be the point, and I didn't really dislike the move. That was until it decided to shove its head up its ass in the final shot with the girl slowly walking into the lake.

I used to be an A24 fan but lately a lot of their projects have been rather meh.
