I loved Jorah's armor. It's like this battered, barely surviving half suit of plate that he took with him into exile. It also served to highlight the differences between Essos and Westeros, with Westerosi soldiers being clad in armor that would be able to stand up against even younger and stronger Dothraki savages.

I'm not really sure what the fuck is the deal now though because everyone in Westeros uses some variation of brown "leather tunic."

I would bet anything that they thought the Tyrell armor was some of the coolest shit they pumped out.

Like this is Loras' old armor from S1. You'll notice that it has flowery designs on it but it's still fucking PLATE ARMOR.
The Tyrell armor we saw later on, I'm not sure how to describe it other than "local neighborhood kids make flowers out of cut up pop can tins and stick it to a dollar store knight costume".

The only people who look like they belong in that photo are Tywin and Joffrey. The actor who plays Brienne is so shit at acting she can't even pose for a photo while looking convincing. Not Charles Dance and the Joffrey kid were the only actors who belonged.
Joffrey was really a natural, wouldn't surprise me of seeing in a David Lean epic.
Charles Dance is always himself, but at least his roles always call for that kind of guy so he pulls it off perfectly.
