I think he's a good boss seeing as he knew Hank was reliable and dumped all the work on his faithful mule. Pretty based if you ask me.

This is a pretty typical arrangement for smaller businesses. There's the guy that does a huge amount of hard work (Hank) and the riskier, more exposed boss/owner who bankrolls the entire venture.
