D&D suck at writing, but in their defense, it's arguably harder to write a screenplay, with smooth transitions and coherent narrative, then write a 1500 page book.

The worst fantasy and sci-fi books I ever read were written by women. Their overall concentration on emotions and how vulnerable the character feels inside is just fucking annoying. They can't write a good hero story even if they inject 1 litre of testosterone daily.
