Resentment

What are some movies that describe the resentment toward a person’s success.

I’ve obtained a good degree of success, and while most of my friends and family are happy for me, one of my friends clearly resents me. During a normal conversation, my friend and past business partner (our partnership never worked out because of his narcissist personality, and so I struck out on my own but remained friends with him) will sarcastically inject my success somehow. For instance, I asked him if he wants to come visit this weekend, and his response was (in a sarcastic voice), “Oh, no, I wouldn’t want to interfere with your busy life.”

I’m looking for movies that focus on this aspect, playing it out in different directions with different resolutions for each movie. I don’t mind a standard trope ending or two if they are well done, but I’m more interested in movies that investigate this dynamic from different angles.
