It is pretty good. Stick with it though, it improves. The plot moves at a rapid pace compared to American shows.

I initially disliked him, but grew to like him. Plus he massively improved as a character generally, particularly by series 2.

Every time he does anything brash he gets horribly fucked over because of it. The only reason he is tolerated is because he is such an effective fighter.
