Hey, this isn't that big of a deal, which should make this more believable, but I just got a scoop on a spin-off of "Making a Murderer"
I'm in a pretty nice law school right now and we just had a guest speaker, a lawyer who worked on the Ron Williamson murder case in Ada, Oklahoma. It's another completely sloppy and corrupt case that ruined this guy's life. John Grisham wrote a book about the ordeal called "The Innocent Man."
Anyways, as she was giving her talk, she broke off and told us about how the case is "coming back into the public consciousness" and that she's being continuously being interviewed by crews from Netflix for what she explicitly stated was a Making a Murder spin-off.
This just happened like 10 minutes ago, and I'm being 100% honest. It's not that big of a deal but neat regardless, if you care about this stuff.
