You ever see a Spoonhead die Molly? No? I'm telling you, there's nothing so beautiful as watching their smug reptile faces realize that you alone have decided their future. And the sounds, Molly, the death rattle. The feeling that you've made the Quadrant a better place by removing another Cardie fuck. Let's go the holosuite, it's not as good as the real thing but it will be good practice for when you grow up.

I can't stand this episode. One of the few I always skip on rewatches.
Reminder Dukat did nothing wrong except when he accidentally got himself stuck on the station while the boobytraps were going off because someone in the Obsidian Order went over his head and impanted an overriding command. He couldn't have known that. And when he tried to screw over a rival politician by separating that politician from his son, but then he accidentally left a trail of clues and Garak caught him, and maybe that one time he accidentally got that chick pregnant, and when his whole life was ruined when he forgot that the prophets were omnipotent beings inside the wormhole, and one time he tried to convince Sisko that he was perfectly sane, and went about this task by talking to imaginary tulpas, also the whole becoming Space Satan thing might have been ill advised. Also Kira's mom. He fucked her.

Wrong ranking system. Furthermore, we had an ensign pushing the "fire" button in TOS and a lowly lieutenant (junior grade) pushing the button in early TNG. You don't need a major for that position. Pay more attention.

I'd say Wesley was an exceptional case because he was a supergenius with time manipulation powers.
One fluke doesn't change the standard. If the academy isn't necessary then why have the academy at all?
>>87096047
>having such a huge ego that you can never admit to being wrong about anything and you always backpedal and make excuses when someone points that you were wrong about something
Goodbye.
Why didn't they just put the shuttle on autopilot to test the metaphasic shield?
>>87096047
>he was a supergenius with time manipulation powers.
not until rather late in the serie, at first he just was some obnoxious wunderkind when he was given the helm of the most important vessel in the entire fucking federation

No. Our Man Bashir is sexiest Bashir followed by racquetball Bashir, and then 1940s pilot Bashir.

Those were made by Baneposters and Sneeders and /who/ tourists and /starwars/ casuals and /got/ plebs who don't actually watch Star Trek.
Every other post would be
>saying Troy instead of Troi
>taking holograms off the holodeck
>creating clones with the transporter
>mixing sperm and eggs when one is holographic
>using holographic food to create real peepee and poopoo
>kidnapping someone for a period of time extending into their duty shift
>not understanding the basic functions of the omnidirectional treadmill, the projections of false visuals onto forcefields and the manipulation of audio to create a sense of distance
As of this post I am manually re-engaging safety protocols. Well I disagree, he had the cutest boyish smile, but then who was sexiest Garak?
>>87096271
What about action figure Bashir?
>>87096271
Who is sexiest Riker and why is itThese Are The VoyagesRiker?
>>87096566
I always hated that the phaser is firing. This is Star Trek, I'm supposed to come in peace. What do they want me to do, pretend that it's a lightsaber?
>>87096538
All Garaks are sexy. Except Mirror Garak. He's weird.
>>87096679
he got his moments
>>87096617
Are doctors even allowed to carry firearms in star trek?
>>87096679
Well yeah, mirror Garak didn't have any balls (literally)
>>87096730
remember when Crusher was in Picard black ops team in the 4 lights episode, I think she got a phaser
This is the sexiest Garak. I've done the research. You guys need to trust me on this.

It's happened before. Hell, French was Englands official language for a long time.

Trip is the most /tv/ character in Star Trek

Afaik In my countries military, designated medics and doctors are trained on a few weapons on a more or less a voluntary basis. Some refuse to hold a weapon in their hand, others would rather protect their co-workers and patients, to defend in the case their lives/the lives of their patients are at risk. International law allows self defense in any means necssaray for a non-combatant (e.g. red cross). I always imagined Fed. law would be similiar

Keevan did nothing wrong.
Translator's Note: "Did nothing wrong" is a 4chan meme indicating that a person did everything wrong.
>>87097116
>>87097116

>when you remember he got killed and then his dead body was traded for quark's mother

>PICARD: Your daughter is lovely.
>MADRED: Yes, I think so. And unusually bright. It's amazing, isn't it, the way they're able to sneak into your heart. I must admit, I was completely unprepared for the power she had over me from the moment she was born.
>PICARD: I'm surprised that you let her come in here.
>MADRED: Why?
>PICARD: To expose a child to this. To someone who is suffering. To see that it is you that inflict that suffering.
>MADRED: From the time Jil Orra could crawl she's been taught about the enemies of the Cardassians, and that enemies deserve their fate.
>PICARD: When children learn to devalue others, they can devalue anyone, including their parents.
>MADRED: What a blind, narrow view you have. What an arrogant man you are. What do you know of Cardassian history?
>PICARD: I know that once you were a peaceful people with a rich spiritual life.
>MADRED: And what did peace and spirituality get us? People starved by the millions. Bodies went unburied. Disease was rampant. Suffering was unimaginable.
>PICARD: Since the military took over hundreds of thousands more have died.
>MADRED: But we are feeding the people. We acquired territory during the wars. We developed new resources. We initiated a rebuilding program. We have mandated agricultural programs. That is what the military has done for Cardassia. And because of that, my daughter will never worry about going hungry.
>PICARD: Her belly may be full, but her spirit will be empty.
(Madred hits him)
>MADRED: Shall we begin again? How many lights are there?
>PICARD: What lights?
(and he gets punished for that)
