Upon rewatching it for the first time since I was a kid, and I actually, unironically believe that Michael Jackson's "Thriller" is not only the best music video, but the best zombie movie ever. Or at least my favorite.

The incredible soundtrack aside,
>perfect tension
>great makeup/effects
>amazing atmosphere
>fun story
>choreography is, obviously, legendary
>cinematography is great, especially for the television format
>Pacing is fantastic - how a 15-minute music video manages to feel like 4 is unreal.
>sound design is actually quite good, music aside
>production design is great
>great balance of schlock and spoops
