Was having Littlefinger break down in tears having crafted no contingency plan or scheme to excuse the crimes he'd committed nearly a decade prior in line with that character? Did having Gendry literally run miles and miles through the frozen tundra in fifteen minutes and Dany crossing the entire continent in time to save Jon and company (who had no fucking food or shelter) better than having the omniscient tree wizard warn her before it even became a problem?

It's cool if you like the show and CGI Dragons fighting CGI zombies are all you need to be happy with it, but to say that this show is the best on television is fucking ridiculous. The writing has fallen just about as far as it could possibly fall at this point.
