I'm not mad that they killed littlefinger.
I'm just annoyed that he died for something that was barely an uninteresting sideplot.
It would've been okay if he schemed more and then was a victim of his own manipulation but the way it worked this season was more like killing of a character you don't want to deal with anymore for the most superficial reasons.
Maybe have a big trial against him halway through the season that takes over 3 episodes.
It's not like there was anything of note happening in winterfell.
