Okay so, explain to me:

How did the creators of the show frame this reveal? Is it supposed to be tragic? Romantic? What is the audience supposed to feel about them fucking? Why did they not make a decision? Don't they have an opinion on this? Shouldn't the audience understand their interpretation of what's going on? Why was it just a bog standard fuck scene and not have some kind of intimidating framing, or maybe a line about incest being cool?

because the writers want to see how the people see the incest scene now, gauge the reaction, and then play to that next season. they're hacks that have no balls to write their own material and depend entirely on pleasing the fanbase and delviering shitty fanservice at the cost of ruining what made the show great in the first place.
