Unless you're lucky enough to live by a budget cinema that won't overcharge you for disappointing films or a smaller independent cinema that actually plays stuff other than capeshit, what reason do you have to keep going? Maybe your film industry is dying, ours is doing pretty well

Once Avengers 4 is out and done with, and the Star Wars movies hit critical mass, box office will continue to drop and studios will take more risks giving small-medium budgets to new directors. Then there will be some sort of new "renaissance" and for the next 15-20 years it will be hunky dory until studio execs pull the reins back in. Always be on the lookout for writers' strikes and how long they strike for.
