Who remembers Mona The Vampire? It got me into my panty flash/upskirt fetish. In nearly every episode they have their underwear shown by various stuff. Sure it's ugly creamy yellow big granny panty underwear, but it at least showed it instead of pretending skirts don't work that way. I'm 22 and I'd say I knew early-mid childhood (2000-2006) was great but was aware my late childhood (2006-2009) sucked, CN/Nick-wise at least.

I distinctly remember the kids in 6th grade making fun of the new shows like Out of Jimmy's Head, iCarly, Naked Brothers Band, the NEW era of SpongeBob where he cries constantly, Back to the Barnyard, Mighty B, Hannah Montana, etc. and claiming Nick and CN "got rid of all the good shows".

Even though we were still technically in our childhoods at the time, I think we knew even then that 2007 was the "pivot year".

When the boring shows on Nick came on I usually changed it to Nicktoons, the superior channel that focused more on cartoons than live action (they even had short segments between commecials where they did mock interviews with the voice actors/actresses who do the characters, that's how i learned Timmy was voiced by a girl in FOP.) One show I couldn't really watch sometimes was that French show with the guy and the talking dog. It was a hit or miss show. Kappa Mikey was alright, I wasn't into anime as a child (thought of them too boring, I liked stuff more like EE&E and spongebob more) but I only had it on as background noises. I kinda like the shorts more than actual programming honestly. However I did like Making Fiends and Edgar & Ellen.
