The portrayal of Egyptian culture was bordering on complete fantasy even in the fairly grounded first season. The Egyptians in Caesar's day had adopted a much more mainstream Mediterranean cultural aesthetic and would have dressed and behaved a lot like the other cultures of the day. The Ptolemy dynasty was itself of Macedonian origin and was also much less insular than previous dynasties.

Rome is good but loaded with problems and poor writing stop pretending its some crime it was cancelled s2 a shit
