This meme needs to die as it misses the point of the show. Rick is depecticed as your typical fedora tier anti establishment atheist, but as a result is a completely fucking miserable lonely murderous alcoholic with suicidal tendencies. Characters like Morty and Jerry on the other hand actually have beliefs and a moral compass, and as a result are shown to be much better adjusted, at least until Rick begins fucking up their lives.

Hell, in one episode Rick is shown praying right before he thinks he's going to die. If you actually watch more than 3 minutes it becomes painfully obvious that Rick isn't meant to be a role model or a good guy. He's just sad.

The latest episode was pretty good--the only thing I hated is when Morty got all righteous and mafioso to Summer's ex-boyfriend because he wanted a girl with bigger boobs.

That was so fucken lame and ham handed--the boyfriend is free to choose who he wants, and he never told summer that he wanted bigger boobs directly, he tried to let her down gently.

Hes literally hitler+stalin+satan fucking himself now, he has no morals, he kills anybody for any reason, he dosnt give a shit about his own daughter or his grandkids and is fine with killing and torturing them since he can get new ones any time he wants

He was drunk genius loser at the start but at lest he came abck to his family and had some connection to Morty.
But everyone outside of Rick from season 1 is already dead and Rick seems to have no redeeming qualities left.

Literally the best thing that can happen to the family and the new Morty is someone killing Rick.
