What is your opinion of Eli Roth as a director?

His films are all awful. Hostel 2 is *interesting* in certain respects but most of his films could have been done better in the hands of a more competent director.
Except green inferno, no one could save that piece of shit.

became a director to hit prime trim
I really like cabin fever
That being said, he's a typical Hollywood kike so who cares

One of my worst, if only real fear. Being stuck, hostage with a bunch of "savages". The fact that your intelligence is foreign and threatening. That because you're "first world", they see you as pompous and entitled. There's no negotiating with the absolute belief In their rituals and gods. You're divine cattle led to slaughter. And even if you may be saved, it will surely be after incurring infectious wounds and *maybe* eating whatever raw, ebola ridden food they give you.
So naturally, I was all I'm on this even though I know Roth is a hack. But even for his sweet spot, torture porn, this struck no cord with me. For that, I can't see him as anymore than some angry college kid pissing in the wind with his "art".
Tl;dr - He's poopshit

He is only good as the Bew Jew

Knock Knock was his best movie, and that's really not saying much. I'm curious about his Death Wish remake, though.

The most tryhard and prima donna of horror directors.
Accomplished horror directors hate him, can't fault them for that.
