There's nothing self-righteous about it. Either you're an asshole who has been actually cast out of a social circle, or you're just too afraid to try for whatever reason. I'm not judging, and don't take the word "afraid" the wrong way either, it's perfectly natural and I sympathize with that.

Of course I've tried the issue is it's easy to fuck up time and time again when your formative social years were spent absent of any decent socialization. So yeah I try but I've no idea how to start any kind of adult relationship when I haven't formed a relationship of any sort since I was 12. Saying try isn't really as good advice as everyone seems to think it is.
