The guy is a joke

He's purposely separating himself more and more from the show.

He did an interview a few days ago saying that they've diverged so much due to small changes having such a large butterfly effect in the series that the show isn't even a spoiler.

It's a great marketing move because it will keep people buying and discussing his books.
