is this worth watching? currently in the middle of episode 2,

I think it gets worse, especially the girl, I think. I gave up on it.

She gets better IMO. Some of the other characters get worse, or change depending on your perspective.

Season 3 and 4 so far are great, 2 is pretty good but if you get triggered by feminist subtext you might not like it. Season 1 gets better towards the end, at least try to make it to the final 3/4 episodes.
