Thewlis is the boss but the movie kind of falls flat in parts. When he speaks to the security guard he keeps talking about how he has 'a future' like there's going to be some big reveal but it never comes. The proto Patrick Bateman guy also feels like he doesnt belong.

I was confused about the confrontation scene at the end. The one with the rich yuppie

I watched I, Daniel Blake the other day. Excellent as well. Loach is far more serious and political, when compared to Leigh. I thought Life is Sweet was a bit more optimistic in that regard
