Pretty much everyone he tortured had easily solved problems like family issues, addiction, etc. Just regular problems so many people encounter in life.

I don't think Jigsaw was ever supposed to be a very sympathetic character though.

Besides, it's literally just a cashgrab horror series about torture porn. It's not worth analyzing.
