I put it somewhere in the middle of [as] original programming. It's humor was juvenile and somewhat gimmicky, its plot progression was meandering and unfulfilling since it got canceled before it could actually wrap anything up, and I didn't really care for the music. It was best when the episodes were only 12 minutes long. The change to a half-hour put a strain on the style of humor which usually revolved around 1 or 2 jokes stretched over the course of an episode.

Wish it would have got a proper send off at least since they were building up a narrative over what seemed like 10 years just for it to be unceremoniously canceled.

Season 1 was incredible, pretty much perfect. One of the best seasons of anything ever.

Season 2 was aight, but it was obvious that they were restrained by the 11 minute running time.

Season 3 had a longer running time, but episodes seemed padded, and they seemed more restrained, lacking in the overabundance of violence/sex/language. Small's voice changed for the worse after season 2 and was especially bad in 3.

I hardly remember anything about season 4 and the special was entertaining, but forgettable.

We'll always have that first season, though. I remember back on New Years of 2006. Family left the house for the night. I ordered a bunch of Chinese food, jerked off to Skinemax for a couple hours, and then watched the Metalocalypse marathon. What a great New Years.
