Just started watching the show but I have some questions
Why did Walt punch the shit out of that hand dryer in the bathroom in Season 2?
And why is Walt later obssessed with removing the rot from the house?

What did this brainlet mean by this?

Why is there always someone trying to derail the threads here? Those were serious questions

He was prepared to die, not to live.

Google will probably have better explanations but it boils down to he was prepared to die and loved the new heisenberg that was forming inside him. Walter has a second personality growing within him, the first who's been afraid of everything all his life and the newly born heisenberg monica who rose during his cancer diagnosis. When he learned he was being cured he had a mini break down, battling with what life style to live, his previous life or the one he knows is rotten but he enjoys more, the heisenberg meth life.

We later learn this isn't true though

The rot is a symbol of his old self: something that is there only because the owner of the house doesn't care enough to take It off
