i've only seen a few season 1 eps and even fewers eps (mostly clips on yt) in later seasons and all i see is them sitting by the side while joffrey is joffreying. and their expression is, well, expressionless neither smiling approving nor disgusted or fearful.

can't speak for the books but in the show, myrcella only ever has like 2 speaking appearances and i don't think she comments on joff at all. i believe that at some point tommen acknowledges joff was too harsh of a leader, but not on what, if any, relationship he had with his brother.
