How does /tv/ store their movies?
Do you even still have movies?
how big is the collection?
>How does /tv/ store their movies?
On my NAS and I browse my collection with Kodi.
>how big is the collection?
About 2800 movies. Half of it in shitty quality from xvid ages long ago. The other half already replaced with at least 720p x264 rips, but not low bitrate yifi garbage.

In boxes or stacked plus all ripped on external hard drives, still have vhs tapes and shit most likely around 1000 or more just in dvds

i don't get it. keeping large volumes of digital matter is even more pointless than the physical unless you are planning for an apocalypse.
Professional tip: Just tell the new generation of kids born after the great disaster stories from movies you saw but just act like they are old legends.

i dont watch movies but i store all the GoT episodes i download into a flash drive and shove it far up my ass for safekeeping

How is it pointless? I usually watch a movie on most evenings. I start my htpc and open Kodi, all from the couch. It's like my private own Netflix that way. You can browse through a movie list all nicely arranged with cover and informations. Better than standing in front of your physical collection and wrench your neck.

>wrench your neck.
Is that your biggest complaint? Really?
Do you really want me to go on an rant on how you're a lazy fat shit that hardly ever gets up from your computer and has to use a piss bottle and a poop sock?
Do you really want me to do that, bro?

I'm not your bro, mate.

Who the fuck wants to store 2800 physical copies of movies?
>>86784665
I do. What's the matter, can't afford them, or the space required to store them? Haha, get a job.

>archaeologists in 1000 years dig up some bones with a USB stick of GoT lodged in the anal canal
>>86784731
Sounds retarded. The digital copies make way more sense.
