The Machines have built several versions of the Matrix. Every time a new version is created there is a glitch that eventually causes a system error. The Machines solve this error, or human's subconscious desire to break free from the Matrix, in other words, by allowing a single individual within the Matrix to gain superpowers. That nigga would go to the source code, insert himself into it and essentially reboot the Matrix. The Machines force this nigga to do so by holding a knife to his throat by attacking Zion. When the nigga reboots the Matrix, the Machines destroy Zion anyway but let the nigga and a select group re-found it. This has happened 7 times, as the Matrix as advanced from alpha to beta to the most recent version. It's pretty dumb, but it isn't quite as dumb as the Architect's verbose bullshit makes it sound. The Machines have essentially found a way to stop the Matrix from breaking, killing all of the people connected to it and fucking up the Machines' power grid.

Unless you're a tech geek with a tech vocabulary and can process words at lightspeed no one understood him the first time he spoke, I had to rewatch him two times to finally understand his point.

Has some minor Evangelion vibes to it.

I just rewatched the scene and the "hardest" words to understand were simple ones like irrevocably and concurrently, which should be familiar to anyone not a functional illiterate who hasn't read a book since they left highschool.

The whole trilogy has a lot of Asian filmography wise, especially with what Korea put out at the time.
>>86782778
Asian filmography vibes*
>>86781776
this nigga gets it
Agent Smith is the virus.
Neo is the antivirus, somehow manipulated by the machines.
The Architect is the machine who built Matrix.
What is the Oracle? She's obviously another important piece in this puzzle, since she talks with the Architect at the end of the movie.
>>86783432
The Oracle is a machine constructed to understand humans and emotions, the latter (architect) is a pure logical being.
The Oracle turns on the Architect resulting in the smith virus.

>>86781592
What he was saying was simple. But his language was pointlessly obtuse that took twice as long to say without giving any extra detail, clarity, or insight into what was happening. It's the definition of pretentious.
I call her..Linda.
>>86785076
It should come as no secret that the later two Matrix movies try way too hard to sound smart without having anything intelligent to say.
