HK G11

That was caseless ammunition. The brown blocks were all propellant. The idea was for it to be a contained unit and not need an ejection port. Germans can't think their way out of everything, though. Ejection of spent casings in a weapon vent a lot of heat and the G11 project suffered big time for it having heat issues. That and it was just too weird and ahead of it's time.

What's rude? The gun? Or me? Also I was wrong, it's the ammo. KSTAM. It fires a shot in a parabolic arc, it then deploys a parachute, deploys a sensor suite (multi-band spectrum), scans it's target, then fires a shaped charge round at it. On the top of the tank. Which is weak.

So it's kinda like the bolter in that's it's 2 stage (actually 3).

Zumwalt destroyers do a similar thing. Fires a shot, discards, then fires it's rockets to gain more altitude and then drops onto the target. They will eventually replace missiles as it's more effective and less likely to be intercepted. Until railguns are operational and we've built huge battleships to house the generators, those will be the new weapons of the sea.

arma 3 had way too much. RO2 does it well, but as a concept it's just artificial difficulty. It has some place in multiplayer games if it's designed around it like RO2 but arma was perfectly designed with it's own deviation mechanic and then they just slapped this crap on top of it and a half assed cover stabilization system. If you have played arma 3 check out a youtube video of the sway it's hilarious how bad it is.

I have The Rhino, it's insanely intimidating. Looks like something straight out of a video game, has the power to back it up. The under barrel firing makes it as accurate as any under in its class. Because a lot of them are homeless and refuse help. Which then leads them to having run-ins with regular people. And since a lot of these people refuse help/medication they have regular fits/breaks/conniptions/whatever around regular people, many times it's perceived as a threat and the said mentally ill person finds themselves getting beat. Rinse and repeat ad infinitum. It fucking sucks, and they don't deserve to get beaten but they also bear some of the blame for refusing medical help. Welcome to reality.

Like our Danish friend said it's about the grip. NY bands pistol grips so they made it into a traditional grip and the gap between the buffer tube and end of the stock stop it being a full stock.
CA compliant one prevents you getting your thumb behind the grip because that's the dangerous bit.
Gun laws hardly make sense at the best of times let alone when they're knee jerk reactions in the wake of a couple of shooting sprees.

>>86788299

Ok I get the reason for the lower magazine count, it at least slows a shooter down with more reloads.

What the fuck does the grip changes really accomplish in practice? Just seems to make the weapon unwieldy, but that's basically irrelevant as the magazine size limit already does all that can be feasibly done to slow a shooter down.
>>
>>86790611
See
>>86788599
>>
>>86790671

It seems the grip changes could be dangerous. Now I'm a no guns so maybe I am wrong here but looking at the California gun, the inability to put your thumb around the rear of the grip makes the gun sit very strangely in your hand. I think I'd be more likely to slip/lose my grip on the gun when my thumb it sitting all weird like that when it recoils.

I imagine slipping your grip on a gun while firing is a fucking dangerous thing.

Good work keeping those dubs going, my man.
Your grip slipping can be dangerous in certain scenarios such as when fuck nuggets hand a new shooter a S&W .500 and they wonder why they got a broken nose. Protip: If you're ever firing a powerful cartridge from a handgun for the first time, only load one round so there's no chance of an accidental follow up shot.
However with a shouldered rifle your hold on the grip is relatively loose. A lot of shooters find it more comfortable to hold the thumb of the shooting hand on the same side as their fingers in some cases. (bit of a shitty picture but you get the idea.)

Kraut guns don't differentiate between "part" and "assembly". A Russian gun might have 50 parts of which 8 move, but a part is defined as a solid piece of metal or wood. A German gun will have 50 parts of which 8 move, but those 8 moving parts are really assemblies made of 10 parts each. The Kraut Space Magic follows this to the letter, using a series of assemblies to do the simple job of getting a round chambered in the right orientation. I think once they got that down someone realized it cost less to tool a Volkswagen and switched to a caseless round to lose the assemblies (plural) needed to spit out casings.

2012's Lawgiver looks beefy and I adore the front-heavy appearance, I feel it signifies an iconic-looking weapon that only a Judge can wield after rigorous training.
