Game of Throne Season Eight

Cold open on Arya in a snowy wood. She opens her bag of faces and puts on the face of Littlefinger before taking the King's Road south.

On Dragonstone, the dragonglass mine is now cleared and many weapons are being packed to send north. Theon and Varys have a conversation about Daenarys because she won't dedicate more resources to rescuing Yara. Varys tells Theon that Yara is as good as dead. Theon considers moving on.

At Winterfell, Jon and Daenarys face tension as the hall grows so cold it's almost frozen. Jon is told that visitors have arrived from the south. He looks out beyond Winterfell from the parapet, alone, and he sees the Lannister army settling in. Two white horses canter to the gates and wait to be allowed inside.

In King's Landing, people are descending into chaos. There is no food, the Blackwater is full of rotting bodies and the Queen is absent from the throne.

At Castle Black just beyond the gate, a hawk swoops down to land on a strange mound. The hawk sees the army of the dead waiting in still rows and we pan out to see that the hawk is perched on the back of a dead mammoth held by a wight giant.

eh, the miscarriage apparently happens towards the end of the episode and it's one of the cliffhangers. so the next episode can pick right there, with cersei still bleeding in bed

The episode opens with George R R Martin, a chronically obese man, hunched over his desk, staring at a blank page with the the realization beginning to dawn that he's essentially destroyed fantasy as a genre forever, and that historically he'll be an insignificant blip far after the burning genius of Tolkien. Knowing that his name will be fed to the dust, he opens his desk drawer, and after moving aside several family sized bags of cheetos, draws a snub nose revolver and presses into one of the folds of his chin. He tries to fit his sausage fingers around the weapon and pull the trigger, but his fingers are so large they can't even squeeze into the trigger guard. George cries and eats more Cheetos. end of episode
