the concept is interesting
the beginning is too slow, the real story starts with 6th episode iirc
the main heroine is meh, but there are pretty great minor characters
a lot of fillers but some episodes are really great
the second season is a bit rushed, they needed to both finish the story and make it match the last episode of the first season, set in the future

its not a really good premise for an episodic series. what else would you use these people for besides sex or killing someone?
The cast was good but really she doesn't have the range to play a different character every episode. Peter Sellers would have had a hard time pulling that off.
Maybe it got better when it got more into the MYTHOS of the dollhouse but stopped watching after a few weeks.
