Can we just talk about how great this movie is?
>protagonists are white males
dropped
Isn't it weird how these days it's almost impossible to see an actor who hasn't been in a capeshit movie
IM GONNA SORT IT OUT

I can't believe they copped out with his wife and kid getting attacked
>>86723272
>Lions...Lions don't do this...
I can't find a picture, but that scene where they find the lair full of human bones is fucking terrifying.

>lionesses in real life
Some hungry bad bitches
>>86723522
They weren't lionesses, the male lions of that area just happened to be maneless.

Ah you're right, stupid me

This movie gives me the same feelings as The 13th Warrior.
>>86723272
It's basically a horror movie but with lions and set in colonial Africa.

manventure/lion kino
what to talk about though, goiters? how there is no sense of adventure anymore? how his wife's baby is probably not his?

Me too.
Ever watched The Snow Walker? Really good movie too.

Try Atanarjuat: the Fast Runner. First half is a little slow, but very interesting anyway.
>>86723362
Not really. I can't blame anyone for taking that paycheck.
Great movie although taking Micheal Douglas seriously as some ultimate hunting hard man was a little tough
>>86724478
Not at the time. Now it looks weird, but back then it worked.
>>86724188
The edge is a criminally underrated movie, I can still watch it and be amazed at THAT fight.

Its a pretty great movie desu. Some somewhat dated CGI but a lot of good practical stuff and a really interesting story. Its a great little adventure.
I live in the town where the movie lions actually came from so its well known among everyone around.

The Grey and Jeremiah Johnson come to mind.
>>86724188
Another fantastic movie.
>>86726529
I didn't care that much for The Grey. There's a few good scenes, but... idk. I think I need to rewatch it.
JJ was great though.
How about Dances with Wolves? I really liked it.
Surviving Crooked Lake (it was okay)?
Amazonia (amazing)? That one's about a small monkey born in captivity surviving a plane crash and having to survive in the jungle.
