fucking this. was gonna post this. This movie is so obsessed with planting the seeds to it's big bombastic ending that it forgets to have anything of interest actually happening for the majority of the movie. And a plot twist is only effective when you don't see it coming. Donnie Darko spends 90 minutes screaming 'GET READY FOR THE TWIST XD'. and it's just lame anyway
