Mothman Prophecies is a hugely underrated horror. I love how the soundtrack is used as another tool to create a sense of uneasiness for the viewer. Great film.

This. I particularly like how the music is used in the scene where Gere finds his dead wifes drawings at the hospital and then he looks to the nurse but he's not there anymore. It really gets under your skin.

Showing dead children dancing around the house was the worst thing that could happen to this movie, but overall it's one of the best boogieman movies since Candyman.

I saw a few people here hyped for The Void and for The Witch. Were they good?

The Witch was kinda good, but wasn't scary, overall it's overrated. The Void was a fucking mess of a movie though.

It was a really neat concept with good visuals and a very stupid script with bad enough dialogue to kill any kind of horror it had.

The Void had some good effects and monster designs, pacing was terrible and acting was bad. Plot was non-existent and lazy. A real shame.

This movie doesn't bring anything new, it's a kind of Assault on Precint 13 rip-off, but not as badass. Another 70's/80's revival crap.
