No, Death Proof is all Tarantino. Grindhouse is both him and Toro, which include's Toro's Planet Terror.

it's easily his best because he is the most honest with what kind of movie it is. He is not pretending to innovate his own kind of film, he's making a mish mash homage to B movies but with top tier (but still copycat) cinematics. It's his most diverse film stylistically which is the only one I can think of that this is an advantage. On both artistic and technical merits this takes the cake easily, and part 2 is a great low key second piece that fills the narrative void left by the ending very nicely.
