He can supercharge objects with energy or some shit.
>>86705919
cry about Rogue
>>86706000
Why pick fucking cards, he could supercharge weapons.
>>86706030
He does, but his whole character is this smooth talking grifter/cardshark/thief who likes using them, plus it catches people who don't know him or his powers off guard.
>>86706030
no idiot, he puts kinetic energy in things and makes them blow up
>>86707245
yeah? idiot? watch your worlds or i will put kinetic energy in your dick and make it blow up, faggot!

don't ever reply to me ever again.

Ronnie Rocket. Actually I'm pretty sure David has cannibalized all the ideas for other movies.

sorry

Cards aren't as terrible of a choice as they seem. Weapons would just blow up after he charged them and then be useless.
He needs some disposable object to charge up. Cards are very light, you can carry a shitload of them, and if you practice and learn the right form you can throw them pretty damn far and accurately.
I'm having trouble thinking of many objects that could beat them in a combination of size/quantity/weight.

Cereals
>>86707422
This is assuming the mass of the object has no effect on the size and power of the resulting "kinetic explosion", which it should. A light playing card shouldn't have near as much destructive power as a baseball or random metal fragement, and it should also produce less shrapnel. Overall, it's kind of a meme power, like Jubilee and her sparks.
>>86707422
>>86707694
you can't throw those as far
>>86707422
What would be your weapon of choice lads?
>>86707584
I seem to remember that he can put more power into larger objects, but I don't think the difference in power between a card and a baseball is enough to rationalize the added size and weight of carrying a shitload of baseballs.
And he can make cards explode violently enough to even damage Sentinels, so it's kind of moot.

ROYAL FLUSH

Halo
Dambusters
>>86707881
I don't think you can throw BBs nearly as far or as fast.
There are card throwers who can throw them hundreds of feet and at comparable speeds to MLB pitchers.

It's also kind of bullshit. Using "kinetic energy" to explain away his power but then allowing for something so low in mass to do so much damage is just retarded.
There was a Peter Pan movie in development that would have stared Aaron Eckhart as Det.Hook and Sean Bean as Det.Smee, two police detectives trying to catch the notorious serial killer "Pan", with help from the only one of his victims to ever survive, Wendy Darling (AnnaSophia Robb).
Could have been interesting.

>allowing for something so low in mass to do so much damage is just retarded
Like an atomic bomb? Atoms are small too.
His power isn't any more implausible than the majority of superpowers.

You have no idea what the upper limit of kinetic energy is.
>>86707548
small rocks
>>86708258
That actually sounds pretty interesting. Is it still being made or was it scrapped?
Every retarded Sony Spiderman universe movie they've announced will never be released. They never are and I don't see the point. They eventually will as well and just cancel them I guess.
The Creature From the Black Lagoon remake
Neon Genesis Evangelion 1+3
Indiana Jones 5
Friday the 13th Re-Remake
Halloween movie of undetermined continuity
Amityville PG-13

He can turn the potential energy of any object he touches into kinetic energy. Also heightened agility, and was trained as a thief since he was a small child. There is a bunch more, but I'm too drunk to keep phone posting.
Not a movie, but I enjoyed the Bryan Fuller Munsters reboot, it was just campy enough for my liking. Of course we wouldn't have gotten Hannibal, so it's for the best.
>Last Starfighter 2
Making a Gambit movie would be dumb. He hasn't even been popular since the 90's cartoon and isn't interesting enough for a whole movie based around him. Just put him in one of the X-Men movies instead.
