Douge sounds like he wants to make a respectable list and at the same time but shit he likes. He's a bit insecure with his tastes as a "movie critic".
James' taste is argueable, but all the movies are there because he genuinely feels like it. They're special and mean something to him, as it should be in any favourites list.
I gotta say Doug simply because who the hell lists The Wizard of Oz and Willy Wonka?

James' list has too many 80s movies, he's biased. Fag doesn't even have Citizen Kane in there.
Critic wins, he has cerebral movies in his top list rather than comedy films aimed at teenagers.
Doug unironically thinks TASM duology is better than Raimi's trilogy, so his opinion is invalid.
Don't know about the other guy though.

James is honest, Doug is a tryhard who spent way too much time on his list
I don't know who these people are but Douge appears to have picked movies that look like they should appear on a top movies list, rather than picking movies he actually enjoys. Now this James guy has some genuine classics on his list (Rocky in particular doesn't get enough critical love), but most of his favorites appear to just be movies he loves.
Douge has the more traditional list, but James is more authentic.

Both are pretty bad lists, most of the movies on there are good but not deserving of a top 20 for anyone who considers himself a fan of film. They have fucking batman movies that high and the only non anglo/American movie on there is spirited away lmao
But I guess the first list is better
